According to the African country’s state-run news agency, the mosques are located in the province of Adrar, north of the country.
The copies were provided by the Islamic Affairs and Education Department of the province in cooperation with Mauritania’s Union of Friday Prayers Leaders.
In recent years, weeks of heavy rains in summer have caused large damage to buildings and facilities in parts of Mauritania, including Adrar province.
All of the mosques damaged in the floods were later repaired or rebuilt.
The Islamic Republic of Mauritania is a country in the Maghreb region of western North Africa.
The country’s population is estimated to be about 4 million and virtually all Mauritanians are Muslims.
