Free Copies of Quran to Be Handed Out in Sudan Int’l Book Fair
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Some 5000 free copies of the Holy Quran will be distributed in the 13th edition of the Khartoum International Book Fair in Sudan.
The book fair will be opened in the Sudanese capital on Tuesday and run for two weeks, according to rasid.co website.
14 countries, including Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and more than 300 publishing local and foreign houses. will take part in the cultural event.
The Saudi pavilion in the book fair will hand out free copies of the Holy Book to the visitors.
The book fair will also include seminars, forums and other sideline activities.
Sudan is a country in northern Africa. Over 97 percent of the country’s population is Muslim.
Quranic activities are prevalent in Sudan and its people are very keen on learning the Quran.
