Retired Man in Egypt Writes Quran in Notebooks

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Mohamed Abdul Maqsud is a retired Egyptian who has written the entire Quran in notebooks four times now.

 

According to el-Watan News website, he spends a long time every day to inscribe the verses of the Quran.

He is a retired accountant in the town of Manfalut in Asyut Governorate.

In 2016, he started the activity as a hobby and it took him 13 months to complete the work.

The second and third copies were completed in 8 and 6 months and the last one took only 4 months to finish.

Mohamed says he writes ten pages every day, 2 pages after each daily prayer.

Each of the notebooks he uses has 200 pages and he writes the entire Quran in 3 notebooks.

Mohamed says he will continue the work as long as he is alive.
