Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Ali Akhavian, the cultural deputy of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, told IQNA that there will be between 8 and 10 educational sessions for the pilgrims, depending on whether they travel to Mecca or Media first.

He said all the education programs for the Hajj pilgrims are organized in person.

The lesson offered in the programs are aimed at helping them make the most of the spiritual journey, he noted.

The cleric added that those seeking to learn more about Hajj rituals, the teachings and concepts of Hajj and the places one visits during the pilgrimage can refer to the website Zaer.hajj.ir.

There they can find the Hajj Rituals software and also electronic books on different aspects of the pilgrimage.

According to the quota given to Iran by Saudi Arabia, 39,650 Iranians will go on the Hajj pilgrimage this year.

Saudi Arabia has announced that it will receive foreign pilgrims for Hajj this year after two years of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
