Online Islamic Radio Launched in Austria
According to izia.at, various religious audio programs will be made available on the internet radio monthly aiming to disseminate the Islamic lifestyle and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
A podcast of the first series of the radio’s programs about the holy month of Ramadan has been released.
It has useful information based on the Holy Quran’s verses and Hadiths, the rulings about fasting, medical advice for worshipers in the holy month as well as the news of the Islamic Center of Vienna.
Opened in 1992-93, the Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center in Vienna supports the Muslims of Austria in carrying out their religious ceremonies and duties, or educational, cultural, social activities, and creates a reasonable atmosphere for Islamic rituals, according to the center's website.
