Seyed Kamran Mirmoeini told IQNA that the section will showcase the Quranic activities and accomplishments of universities, students and professors.
He added that student debates, Quranic discussions and specialized forums will be among the programs of the section.
There will also be arts and cultural programs and competitions with Quranic themes, he said.
The 27th Tehran International Quran Exhibition will kick off at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) on Saturday evening.
A number of countries, including Syria, Bahrain, Yemen and Palestine will take part in the expo, according to Fars.
Also, 10 Iranian Qaris and 7 Qaris from other countries will recite the Quran at the exhibition.
The expo is annually organized by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.
It is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.
It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
