Winners of Dubai Int’l Quran Award Announced

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The winners of the 24th edition of the Dubai international Holy Quran award were announced and awarded.

 

 The awarding ceremony was held in the UAE city on Saturday night, according to alkhaleej.ae website.

The panel of judges announced Muhammad Abu Qassim from Syria as the top winner of this edition.

Avdul Ghani Yahya from the US and Muzzamil Muhammad from Sudan came second and third, respectively.

The winners of the fourth to tenth ranks were from the host country, Somalia, Senegal, Bangladesh, Egypt, Niger and Chad.

The 24th edition of the Quranic event had begun in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, April 14.

The participants competed in the category of memorization of the entire Quran.

This year, due to the coronavirus restrictions, only expatriates living in the UAE were invited to the contest.
