Bomb Goes off Near Sana’a’s Imam Ali (AS) Mosque
A bomb went off near a mosque in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a Saturday evening.
According to Al-Alam news network, the explosion took place in the money changers market in Sana’a’s old district.
It happened when worshippers were leaving the Imam Ali (AS) Mosque after saying their Asr prayers.
The bomb explosion left several people injured and the wounded were immediately taken to hospital.
No further details have been released about the incident as of yet.
Yemen is a poor country that has been in turmoil since January 2011.
