TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Covid-19 vaccine clinic has been stationed at Glasgow Central Mosque to offer booster shots to people in the area.

The center opened on Monday. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) took to Twitter on Monday to announce 45 vaccinators will be there to ensure people can get boosted.

The clinic closed earlier due to power cut on Monday but will resume activities on Tuesday.

The centre said they experienced the blackout at 5.33pm, which forced them to close earlier.

They reassured anyone looking to get their booster that they will be open tomorrow as scheduled from 10am until 6pm, for both appointments and walk-ins.

Clinicians from NHSGGC have urged the public to get a booster vaccination before Hogmanay as hospitals are nearing capacity.
