Three Syrian Troops Killed in Israeli Missile Attack
A Syrian military source told SANA that the area was targeted by the Zionist regime missiles at 1:10 AM local time.
According to SANA’s report, the Syrian army’s air defenses managed to track and shoot down most of the missiles.
The attack killed three Syrian soldiers and caused material damage, the report added.
It said a number of blast were heard over the skies of the capital and its outskirts as a result of the air defenses’ confrontation with the enemy missiles.
It was the Zionist regime’s fourth attack on the Syrian soil in just two weeks.
On Wednesday, the Israeli regime carried out a missile attack on various targets on the outskirts of southwestern city of Quneitra from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
The Tel Aviv regime frequently targets military positions inside Syria with the aim of supporting its mercenary terrorists and preventing Syrian army advances against them.
The Syrian foreign ministry has condemned the attacks in letters to the United Nations and the Security Council, stressing that the Arab country will confront the aggressions with all possible means.
