Moscow to Host Islamic Studies Conference in February 2023
Titled “Islamic Studies; Truth, Method and Interpretation”, it will be organized by the Institute of Philosophy, Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS Institute of Philosophy) with support from Russia’s Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation.
The Iranian Research Institute of Philosophy will also cooperate in holding the scholarly event, which is slated for February 2-3, 2023.
The conference is aimed at discussing issues related to the field of Islamic studies in the contemporary era and the means needed to study and promote awareness in this field.
It will be organized in person in the two languages of Russian and Persian.
Those willing to take part in the conference can submit an abstract of their paper to the email address islamphil@mail.com by November 1, 2022.
The paper that are presented at the conference will be published in the Ishraq magazine on Islamic philosophy.
