TEHRAN (IQNA) – People in different Palestinians cities occupied by the Israeli regime held rallies on Monday evening to voice support for the city of Nablus and denounce the atrocities committed by the Zionists in the city.

The demonstrations were organized in cities and towns like Al-Nassira, Kafr Qara, Shefa-Amr, and Bir Saba.

The participants strongly condemned the crimes and acts of aggression committed by Israeli terrorist settlers with support from the regime’s forces.

They also censured the Israeli troops’ atrocities against Palestinians.

Watan Madhi, a political activist in Bir Saba University said at the demonstration in the city that democracy and peace would be meaningless without an end to occupation.

Several Palestinians have been martyred and hundreds injured during attacks by Israeli settlers and troops on Nablus area towns and villages in recent days.

The number of the Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and settlers since the beginning of the year has reached 66, including four who were killed by Israeli settlers' gunfire, 13 children, four elderly people, and one prisoner.

At least 21 of the fatalities were caused during two separate mass raids carried out by the Israeli troops on the cities of Nablus and Jenin, both in the northern part of the West Bank, earlier this year.
