IQNA – The National Center for Quranic Sciences affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine launched a platform for online teaching of the Quran.

The Dhi Qar Holy Quran Institute has established the e-learning platform on behalf of the center, the website of the Astan reported.

Sayyid Blasim al-Shammari, an official with the center, said the move was part of the efforts in line with elevating the quality of educational activities of the center.

He said the platform will serve those who are eager to learn the Holy Quran.

Al-Shammari added that the center pursues further employment of technological advances in implementing Quranic activities.

Sayyid Ali al-Bayati, director of the center, said the platform helps Quran learners develop their skills.

He noted that it has been developed by the Al-Kafeel Information Technology Center, affiliated to Al-Kafeel University, and operates on Windows, Android and iOS systems.
