IQNA – Yemen’s scholars in a statement reiterated the religious ban on normalization of ties with the Zionist regime.

Yemeni people voice solidarity with Palestine

In their statement, released on Monday, they said normalizing ties with the Tel Aviv regime in any form is Haram (religiously forbidden).

The statement was issued at the end of a congress of scholars from different parts of Yemen, Al-Quds Al-Arabi daily reported.

“We condemn Zionism as a criminal, bloody and corrupt ideology that foments conflicts among countries and threatens the world’s peace and security,” they said.

They called on certain Arab countries that have made the move to repent to God and sever ties with the Zionists.

These countries must cut ties with the murderers of (Palestinian) women and children, the statement stressed.

It also called for boycotting the criminal Zionist regime and its supporters.

The boycott should cover all economic, political, security, military, cultural, sports and other areas, it added.

The Yemeni scholars further urged Arab and Muslim governments and nations to take practical measures to confront the Zionist enemy.

They also called on Muslims scholars in the Arab and Muslim world to raise awareness among Muslims and revive the spirit of Jihad.

During the congress, the scholars voiced support and appreciation for Yemen’s missile and drone attacks on Israeli and Israeli-bound vessels and on targets in the occupied Palestinian territories.
