Quran Contest in Brunei to Kick Off Next Week: Religious Affairs Ministry

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Brunei’s Ministry of Religious Affairs said the preliminary round of a competition on memorization and understanding of the Holy Quran will kick off on January 16.

The competition will be held at the Al-Quran MABIMS Studies and Dissemination Center in the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan and run for five days, it said.

For Category A, it will take place on January 16 at 8am and 1.45pm.

For category B, it will be held January 17 at 8am and 1.45pm.

For Category C, it is scheduled to take place on January 18 and January 19 from 8am onwards.

Meanwhile for Category E, it will be on January 19 at 1.45pm, and for Category D, on January 21.

Participants are advised to come earlier than the time and date specified.
