The Southeast Asian country’s Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) through the Youth and Sports Department will hold the contest at the preliminary stage on May 10-13.
The competition is open to citizens and permanent residents, between 15-30 years old (born between January 1, 1993 and December 31, 2008).
Applicants should not be among winners of any international Al-Quran reading competition organized by the Malaysian government or Southeast Asian Al-Quran reading competition for Youth organized by the MCYS.
The Al-Quran reading competition semi-final will be held on June 11 and the final scheduled for June 22.
