Gaza Martyrs to Be Remembered at Inauguration of Iran’s Nat’l Quran Contest

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The final round of the 46th edition of Iran’s National Holy Quran Competition will be launched later this week.

Remembering those martyred in the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip will be part of the inauguration ceremony on Thursday, November 30.

Also, the Iranian Quranic community attending the opening ceremony will condemn the recent acts of desecration of the Holy Quran.

The Darriush Hotel in the northeastern city of Bojnourd will host the opening ceremony.

The competition will run through December 9, according to the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization.

The contenders will compete in different categories such as Quran recitation and memorization, Tarteel, Adhan recitation, choral recitation, and Tawasheeh.
